Here’s the second section for Round 2 of the Custom Marvel Battle Tournament with the matches and my predictions for them. If you haven’t checked out the first section matches to see who is still left CLICK HERE. While this section is not as intense as the Savage Land section with some of the most popular heroes and villains fighting each other, there are some good matches here in the Latveria section. Marvel characters in this section include Magneto, Emma Frost, Colossus, Carnage, Dr. Doom, Cyclops, Iron Man, and Super-Skrull.

Custom Marvel Battle Tournament – Round 2 – Latveria Section

Name: Magneto
Pros: magnetism, helmet blocks telepathy
Cons: non-magnetic opponents

Name: Emma Frost
Pros: powerful telepathy, diamond form
Cons: can’t use telepathy while in diamond form

Winner Prediction: This would be a very close match, but if Magneto plays it right and keeps his helmet on that blocks telepathic attacks, then he should have the upper hand and be able to weaken Emma Frost, who wouldn’t be very effective to the point of defeat.

Name: Colossus
Pros: transform into steel-like form, superhuman strength
Cons: weak in human form

Name: Carnage
Pros: symbiote granting super strength, speed, power, healing
Cons: vulnerable to sonic and heat

Winner Prediction: A pure physical battle here with lots of attacks going back and forth. I think Carnage would win mainly because of his healing regeneration from the symbiote. Colossus wouldn’t really be able to expose Carnage’s weakness of sound and heat, so he would probably loss after a long fought battle.

Name: Super-Skrull
Pros: powers of all 4 members of Fantastic Four, transform body
Cons: 4 main powers = 4 smaller weaknesses

Name: Iron Man
Pros: armor suit giving him flight, weapons, defense, and more
Cons: powerless without suit or arc reactor core in his chest, ego

Winner Prediction: I’m taking Super-Skrull in this match because with his power of flight he can keep up with Iron Man and would be able to physically destroy Iron Man’s armor suit and render him ineffective.

Name: Cyclops
Pros: optic blast
Cons: needs to wear ruby quartz lens to stop beams

Name: Doctor Doom
Pros: mystical powers, suit gives him lots of abilities
Cons: much weaker without suit to give him extra powers

Winner Prediction: Doctor Doom is way too powerful for Cyclops to even stand a chance. His various abilities from his suit along with his magical attacks would overpower a defensively weak Cyclops.
